Program Overview

Our Summer Development program is designed to provide a fun, structured, and developmental environment for boys and girls of all levels. Players will train during the week and apply what they learn in small-sided games on Saturdays.

This format allows for maximum touches, decision-making, and enjoyment of the game while continuing to build confidence and skills throughout the summer.


Program Objectives

  • Create a fun and positive soccer environment during the summer months
  • Improve technical skills (dribbling, passing, finishing)
  • Develop game understanding through small-sided play
  • Encourage creativity and confidence on the ball
  • Promote teamwork, sportsmanship, and love for the game
  • Provide consistent training-to-game application each week

Training Sessions

Dates: June 9th – July 18th 

Cost: $75.00 per player

Ages: 7-14 Boys and Girls

Training Sessions

  • Boys: Tuesdays @ 6:00 PM
  • Girls: Thursdays @ 6:00 PM

Game Days (All Groups)

  • Saturdays between 9:00 AM - 12:00 pm 

Location: Alvarado Soccer Facility 

Age Groups & Game Formats

  • 7–8 Years Old: 5v5
  • 9–10 Years Old: 5v5
  • 11–12 Years Old: 7v7
  • 13–14 Years Old: 9v9

Program Outline

Training Sessions (Tuesdays/Thursdays)

Each session will focus on:

  • Ball mastery and technical development
  • Small group activities and skill-building exercises
  • Competitive games and situational play
  • Age-appropriate coaching with emphasis on decision-making

Saturday Game Days

  • Organized small-sided games based on age group
  • Rotations and balanced teams each week
  • Focus on learning through play, not standings
  • Coaches guiding players with minimal interruption

What to Bring

  • Soccer attire (shirt, shorts, socks)
  • Cleats and shin guards
  • Full water bottle
